Review: Perfect Shift

Perfect Shift by Lextre is a game which gives you an amazing drag racing experience. What’s great about the game are the graphics, and the attention to detail.

You don’t have much controls to worry about. As the name suggests you are mainly in control of shifting gears. You can accelerate at the right time initially, and change gears when the gear indicator turns green.

Perfect Shift is a high quality drag racing game allowing the user to race in abandoned tunnels, deserted city streets and dark industrial areas. There are 15 unique cars and seven types of races users can take part in. The main story line revolves around the story race type, in which users race progressively more challenging opponents.

When you beat all opponents of the story races, you complete a level. In your garage you can build and customize your dream car by upgrading to more powerful engines, better tires, gearboxes, aerodynamic tweaks, or installing original decals and cool rims. You closely work together with your mechanic Sheryll, an old female friend and car fanatic, to upgrade your car.

The game is based on the F2P model, so it is free and allows for in-app purchases to upgrade your cars and improve their performance.

Currently there aren’t any licensed cars in the game, but it would be nice to see them incorporated in the future.
